Braga Street


Braga street is locate in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. This street so famous since Dutch East Indies government. Untill now the name of this street not change anymore and be the landmark of Bandung.



Short History

Initially, Braga is small street in front of the quiet enough residential so it known as " Jalan Culik" because the street is disturbed of kidnapping, it's known as "Jalan Pedati" (Pedatiweg) too in 1900s. Braga Street become crowded because lot of Dutch businessmen open stores, bar, and entertaintment area

In Braga, you Will find a lot of heritage building with good view, restaurant, cafe, paint seller, entertaintment area, and stores. There's a mall in Braga it name is Braga Citywalk. In Braga Citywalk, you can buy some food, drink, clothes, and many more or you can watch the movie in XXI Cinema. XXI Cinema Braga Citywalk is the one of the cheapest cinema ticket cost in Bandung. In weekdays, you only need Rp25.000 and in weekends you only need Rp30.000 for watch a move. If you want to watch a movie and don't have lot money, just come to Braga Citywalk

Best time to visit Braga Street is in the afternoon because all the restaurant, cafe, and the mall already open. You can visit Braga Street when Independence day because there's a carnival held in Braga Street. And in the night, you can enjoy Bandung Nightlife and the night view in Braga Street
